Castle Leslie Wedding Photography
Caoímhe & Seán had their gorgeous winter wedding at Castle Leslie, and they didn’t let Storm Darragh stop them from having the best day! Nestled in the heart of County Monaghan, Castle Leslie Estate is one of Ireland’s most beautiful wedding venues—and one of my absolute favourite places to photograph. With its stunning 1,000-acre estate, lake views, and historic castle interiors, it provides the perfect backdrop for timeless wedding photography.
Despite the storm, Caoímhe and Seán made the most of Castle Leslie’s stunning interiors, capturing timeless photos on the grand staircase and in the Long Gallery.
The day started with a fun and lively morning at Caoímhe’s family home, followed by an emotional first look with her family. Their ceremony in their beautiful family chapel was filled with heartfelt moments – check out Seán’s reaction as Caoímhe walked up the aisle with her dad!
With the storm approaching, we made a quick stop at the The Coach House Old Bar to capture some outdoor shots before the weather turned. This really paid off, and ensured that we got some outdoors photographs before the storm hit!
Caoímhe’s bridal look was effortlessly elegant—she wore a Newhite dress with detachable sleeves and an overshirt, paired with a Blue Meadow Bridal veil and Lori Muldoon earrings. Her bridesmaids and mum all wore black, perfectly complementing the venue. The bridesmaids’ dresses were from Jarlo London, while her mum wore a striking Ruedi design. Seán and his groomsmen looked sharp in classic tuxedos.
A day filled with fun, laughter, and great energy—despite the storm, nothing could dampen the celebrations.
Castle Leslie is a truly magical setting for a winter wedding!
